I’m a South African-born innovator currently living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I’m passionate about education and have sponsored all of my certifications while working full-time.
I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams and the moment I understood this was at the tender age of 17, after being awarded the President Nelson Mandela Award, which is internationally recognised as the Duke of Edinburgh Award for Youth Empowerment.
I am an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of South Africa (IIA-SA), the Institute of Commercial Fraud Practitioners (ICFP), and one of the founding members of the Black Business Growth Initiative (BBGI). I coach and mentor young women who want to pursue careers in the accounting and auditing professions.
I obtained my BCom Accounting Degree from the University of Fort Hare, where I was a student leader- serving as Branch Chairperson of the Association of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA) Student Chapter and sat on the ABASA Eastern Cape Chapter Board Ex Officio.
